Namaste!!!!!!!

I am Dhruba Giri, born on May 17, 1979 at the boarder of Chitwan National Park, a homeland of Tharus. Chitwan National Park as an attraction of tourists from various countries, I was knowingly or unknowingly involved with different touristy activities from my childhood.

At the age of twelve, I started working as a waiter at K.C. Restaurant in Sauraha. I was still a student while working there, but I left school with an intention of being a successful businessman and social worker to help the poor people of this region.

“You Dream and I am there to fulfill your wishes” that is what we believe in GOD. Fortunately, I met Judit and her family, shared my dream with them and finally we decided to start from small. We rented Hotel Riverside for few years which was successfully run, but we couldn’t extend our contract of renting that hotel. So we were in search of our own piece of land to establish our project. Luckily we found the perfectly located land where Sapana Village exists now. I realized that my dream will definitely turn into reality so we named the project Sapana Village, which in English says Dream Village.

Sapana Village as an Umbrella Organization, is now co-operates with other projects like Sapana Village Development Centre Nepal and Tharu Dauw Women Skills Development Project. Now we are stepping ahead with the clear mission and vision of Sapana School to realize our dream come true. It is the dream of entire members of NGO and local people of this region who are hoping that their children will achieve the proper educational system as demanded by 21st century.

I wish a great success of school planning and other future projects like Health-post and Society house for elderly people. I hope everyone will help one another to realize our dream school for the children of this region.
